The
WYBAR kennel is officially registered to Yvonne Barendregt-Willis
but without the help and support of husband Frits WYBAR would not be
where it is today! The first Norwich
arrived in the Barendregt household in 1992. A little
bitch puppy with a very long name, Lady Ykenburg from Fra-Joo's Home,
but we called her Kayleigh. Kayleigh had her first
litter of five robust pups without any
difficulty in 1995. Since then there have been many more litters bred
from Kayleigh or her descendants. We breed because we
enjoy it and because we want to produce strong,
healthy Norwich Terriers so that this numerically small breed can also
have a future in the 21st century. We naturally also give
great importance to conformation to the breed
standard. We regularly attend Championship Shows at home and abroad
because our dogs are worthy of being shown and have also proved this
many times. Results We never breed more than
one or two litters per year. Our dogs live
with us in the house and enjoy the freedom of our spacious garden. Very occasionally we
have been prepared to part with one of our more
mature ladies so that she may spend the second half of her life
enjoying the undivided attention of her owner(s).
