Abbi was
the only bitch in a litter of 4 (03-11-2007). It was a splendid litter so the
temptation to
keep one of the puppies was irresistible. We are not sorry that Abbi
has stayed
with us. She is a delight, playful, affectionate and full of tricks but
always
good friends with the rest of the pack.
Abbi is
still our ‘baby’ but she has done her share of winning too. Just like
her
mother she is a born show girl. As soon as the show line is put on she
seems to
know instinctively what is expected of her. She clearly enjoys her time
in the
ring too.
As puppy
she received the qualification ‘very promising’ and once she was 9
months old
she was eligible to compete for the CAC but she had to wait in the
wings until
‘Aunty’ Purdy (Wybar Joyous Jeopardy) had completed her championship.
On 1
November 2008 it was her turn and at the KC Dordrecht show in Bleiswijk
she was
BOS. On 16 November the Dutch Norwich Club held their annual
championship show
where Abbi gained the junior CAC.
Then
on 29 november it was the Amsterdam Winner where Abbi took both the
titles;
Junior Winster ’08 and Winster ‘08. Her litter brother, Wybar Outward

With this string of results it
is no surprise
that she soon had her Junior Championship and enough points for a full
championship. However, according to the Dutch Kennel Club rules the
deciding
point has to be gained after becoming 27 months old. In March 2010
during the
KC Rijnland show in Hazerswoude she made up her Dutch Championship and
her
Champions cross will join those of the rest of her family on the ‘wall
of
honour’.
